ATD: Facilitated Development Training for Sales Team

The Association for Talent Development (ATD, formerly ASTD) has a team responsible for selling exhibit space at their annual conference, advertisements in the monthly T&D magazine, sponsorships for various events, and group memberships. The entire sales team needed support and development on working as a team, communicating effectively with both inside and outside stakeholders and clients, sales techniques, and goal setting. We facilitated the group through a proven Sales Effectiveness Development process, followed by individual follow-up calls to extend the group work. As a group, we worked through a series of modules with key content topics over 10-12 weeks; individually, each member of the team worked through an individual Action Plan that included specific goals, self-evaluations of strengths and weaknesses, and a commitment to do things differently in their professional and personal lives.
