Robyn Rickenbach
Robyn Rickenbach is the President of Springboard International Inc. She is an innovative, strategic thinker with proven success in executing critical business objectives, making teams successful and facilitating collaborative decision making and planning. She has an intense focus on human capital improvement, learning and performance, and organizational development areas, with 20 years experience in a variety of market sectors and verticals.
Robyn graduated from the College of William and Mary with a B.A. degree and also holds an M.B.A. from Golden Gate University. She is an active member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the D.C.-area Women in Technology (WIT) organization.
Robyn spent almost 15 years in the education sector, as both the Director of Admissions and the President of several career colleges, and in that time also headed self-study teams and implemented new academic programs. She then moved into the corporate world of training and development as an enterprise sales person and then learning services solutions manager. Throughout her career, Robyn’s focus has been on developing individuals, teams, and business initiatives to their full potential and executing on critical business goals.
In her spare time, Robyn is committed to giving back to the community. Her most recent service includes:

Susan Bacher
Susan Bacher, Senior Associate, is a proven business performance professional. Susan has spent the last several years helping clients around the country by analyzing their business processes, facilitating change management and guiding them through successful technology implementations as a part of Datatel, Inc.
Susan’s career has primarily been in the industries of higher education and software implementation, providing both training and consulting to for-profit and non-profit organizations for over 15 years. Through these experiences she has developed the key skills needed to help individuals and organizations reach their peak performance.
Susan holds Bachelor of Arts in Human Services, from Tift College of Mercer University and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Georgia. Susan was a collegiate tennis player and still enjoys playing in multiple tennis leagues in her home town of Atlanta, Georgia.
Amy Carr
Amy Carr, Senior Associate, is a creative learning professional with over 17 years of experience in architecting learning and performance solutions to drive results. Amy is passionate about partnering with organizations to clearly define business outcomes and pinpoint root causes to recommend the most effective solutions. Amy has interfaced with clients across 17 industries and she specializes in the following activities:
- Designing high-quality, engaging blended learning programs
- models and process improvement strategies to simplify the complex
- Developing competency models and competency assessment strategies
- Managing high-impact teams and projects
- Facilitating requirements definition for technology tools and systems
The majority of Amy’s career has been with global firms, such as Accenture, where she managed teams and projects related to organizational learning strategies, e-learning solutions, classroom training, performance support tools, and knowledge solutions. The key competencies that she brings to her engagements include: Learning Strategy Development, Needs Assessment, Instructional Design (eLearning/Blended Learning), Project Management and Process Improvement. These skills enable Amy to be a true architect, providing insight and collaborating with her clients to craft a blueprint for success in achieving their business objectives.
Amy holds a Masters degree in Instructional Systems from The Pennsylvania State University with an emphasis in Learning Technologies. She also has a B.S. in Corporate Communication from Ithaca College. In addition to conference presentations and publications (e.g., in TechTimes, The Quarterly Review of Distance Education, etc.), Amy developed a theory-into-practice online knowledge tool that has been leveraged by academic institutions for over a decade.
Sally Runion
Sally Runion is the Office Manager of Springboard International. Sally has served in the executive assistant field for more than 30 years. Her experience, work ethic and attention to detail has served her well. Sally graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1971.
Sally has three grown boys and six grandchildren and lives in Warrenton, VA. In her spare time, she enjoys working around the house, gardening and traveling. |
